Biography:
Holly is a professional with a blend of experience in research, archives and project management who has been involved in genealogy for more than 20 years. She has a Masters degree in Library Science with a concentration in archives and records management. Early in her career, she worked as an archivist in several historical organizations in New York City. After gaining experience in historical research, she used the skills she had learned to explore the field of genealogy. As her interest for genealogy grew, she augmented her knowledge by attending professional conferences and learning the standard professional methods and practices in the field. In 2018, Holly obtained a Professional Learning Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and she continues to participate in professional development and educational opportunities through her memberships in the Association of Professional Genealogists, the New England Historic Genealogical Society and the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society.

Service Description:
Services for clients include repository research and document look-ups within Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer and Albany Counties in New York State, developing research plans for clients, as well as conducting online research relating to the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries for states in New England, the Mid-Atlantic, Mid-West and West, including: New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana and Colorado.
