Biography:
I love a good family story, whether it's mine or yours! I have over thirty years of family history research knowledge and experience. My focus areas include seventeenth century New England and eighteenth and nineteenth century population shifts westward into upstate New York, the upper Midwest, and Northwest Territory. I'm a fourth generation Washingtonian. My great grandparents were among the first white settlers in North Central Washington in the 1880s. I grew up in the former railroad town of Leavenworth in Chelan County, as did my parents. My college years were spent in Columbia, Missouri, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Stephens College in 1982. I am currently enrolled in the fall 2016, Boston University Genealogy Research Certificate Program.

Service Description:
It's a great feeling when I am able to help others connect with their forgotten ancestors. Every member on a family tree has a story to tell and my goal as a genealogist is to provide my clients with an accurate understanding of the lives their ancestors led using the most reliable sources available. In addition to online research, I often consult with historical and genealogical societies throughout the country; I request records from National or State Archives, county and city clerks' offices, and I am willing to travel within the state of Washington to do on-site research, if needed. I also enjoy turning family trees into beautiful and intriguing works of art. Please visit my website to view the "Remembrance Box."
