Extended Tab

My name is Caroline Guntur, and my business The Swedish Organizer represents who I am as well as what I do. My passion is preserving memories, and connecting people with the Scandinavian way of life! I dedicate myself to helping the people in the Scandinavian-American community organize and preserve their memories, and connect with their heritage through cultural understanding, and family history. I was born and raised in Ystad, Sweden, but moved to the United States in 1999. I currently live in Gilberts, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, with my husband and daughter. My education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Communication from Hawaii Pacific University, a Master of Arts Degree in Arts, Entertainment & Media Management from Columbia College, as well as a certificate of Advanced English / English as a Second Language from Cambridge University. I am a Certified Photo Organizer, a Certified Home Movie Specialist, and I am currently pursuing my CPO, CG, and CGL certifications. I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and its Chicago chapter, the Association of Personal Photo Organizers (APPO), the Association of Personal Historians (APH), the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), the International Society of Genetic Genealogy (ISOGG) as well as the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Chicago.
