Biography:
Shannon Green, CG, is a genealogy researcher and writer. She earned the Certified Genealogist credential in 2017. Shannon is passionate about genealogical education: she received her certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University (2014), completed the NGS Home Study Course (2015), graduated from the ProGen study program (2016), and has attended several institutes and conferences. She is an Instructor in the Boston University Genealogy Principles course. Shannon has been published in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly (NGSQ), the National Genealogical Society Magazine, the NYG&B Record, and The Connecticut Nutmegger. Currently, Shannon is working on dozens of supplementals for the Daughters of the American Revolution specifically on new patriots and re-opening lines that have been closed. She has an undergraduate degree from Duke University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
