Connecting Generations is a UK wide genealogy and archive research service based in London. Founded by Giles Clifton, a professional genealogist and archive researcher who is an Associate Member of AGRA (Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives), a Member of APG (Association of Professional Genealogists), and a Member of the Society of Genealogists, Connecting Generations Family History Research undertakes all types of research from simply obtaining a birth, marriage or death certificate or tracing an ancestor's career and compiling a full family history over several generations. Giles Clifton was educated at Sedbergh School, Yorkshire. He gained an Upper Second class Honours Degree in History from the University of Nottingham. After his undergraduate degree Giles obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law (now the University of Law), and completed the Bar Vocational Course at Northumbria University before being Called to the Bar of England & Wales. Giles is a Barrister of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
