Cheryl Hester
Kinfinder Group, The DNA Detectives
Biography:
Genealogy has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandmother always filled me with family stories, names, and photos. I have been researching my family genealogy for over 13 years and helping others find their ancestral roots since 2005. Discovering my family mystery that was uncovered and solved by DNA testing sparked an even greater passion for genetic genealogy beginning in the very early days of DNA testing. I have been working unknown parentage cases since 2011 by combining my genealogy skills with genetic testing to help reunite adoptees and those with unknown parentage specializing in Texas adoption, identifying John and Jane Does and Amerasian birth father searches (Vietnam War Era).
