Biography:
I am a professional genealogist primarily researching in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, and Iowa. I hold a credential as an Accredited Genealogist in U.S. Midwest states through the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists(ICAPGen). My passion is helping individuals and families that want to build their legacy to connect to the people, events, and places where their families intersected with American history. I have 30 years of research experience, specializing in deep knowledge and creative use of information to tell family stories. Rather than only delivering a report, I work to create an experience that brings families to life, using pictures and historical context. I am available for long-term projects on genealogy and history. I am a regular columnist on business and marketing in the Association of Professional Genealogists' Quarterly, and also consult with genealogists and societies about marketing, branding, and business topics.
