Biography:
Dianne L. K. Holley is a practicing genealogist who lives in Austin, Texas. U.S.A She is a 3rd generation Californian maternally and a 2nd generation Croatian American paternally. The influence and confluence of those histories and cultures and their impact on her life made family history research inevitable. Her range of business experience includes marketing, instructing, and research in fields as diverse as travel and electronic equipment manufacture. Life experience includes two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Afghanistan, round-the-world travel and the cultural differences encountered while living in coast to coast U.S. cities and towns. Being On-the-Clock for BCG certification, acquiring and maintaining current industry standards, and performing client research occupy most of her time. She facilitates a Genealogy Club and monthly classes at a local computer lab. In a course titled Taming the Digital Tiger, she offers instruction in acquiring, processing and managing the data collected in genealogical research. A hubby, two sons (with great wives), three grandkids, a poodle named Jolie, and quilting provide favored precious moments.
