A professional researcher, analyst, writer and presenter since 1999, KC Reid is a professional genealogist tracking American ancestral lines across the US to the immigrant ancestors. She focuses on building the story of those ancestors to help their descendants understand them as more than names on a page, including recommending travel and experiences so clients can literally walk in their ancestors footsteps anywhere in the world. In addition to her undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and in International Security and Peace, KC holds two Masters degrees, one from the prestigious University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. KC has lived and traveled extensively around the world and inside the U.S., and worked for several years as a travel agent before focusing on identity construction for the U.S. national security community and genealogy clients.

Service Description:
With always meticulously researched and sourced products, I make your ancestors far more than a name on a page. Learn who your ancestors really were through a biographical sketch placing them in historical, social and cultural context. Explore your past, literally, with a custom-made domestic or international itinerary to travel on the same migration routes, visit the same battlefields, and experience some of the same cultural activities as your ancestors. Identify missing ancestors to fill in your family tree for a frame-worthy ancestral display. Discover your family origins. Preserve the story and build the family ties behind the names of your children, nieces and nephews. Confirm or refute that family legend. Gain insight into your ancestors military service and engagements through custom visualization. Personalized books, diagrams, experiences, and more will help you discover the legacy your ancestors left you. Once discovered, you can use it to shape the legacy you leave for future generations.
