Biography:
I became my family's historian in 1978 when my high school history teacher assigned each student to complete a family tree. Since then, my enthusiasm for research, history and bringing the stories and experiences of long forgotten people to life has been a passion. I am experienced in reading research materials including online research and microfilm, microfiche and handwritten documents. Many of my family histories have begun with photo identification. I'm also skilled in producing written reports and storytelling, having been a salaried journalist from 1995-2000, and having completed the course through Boston University. The focuses of my research have been in the US Midwest and in Colonial New England.
