Biography:
My wide-ranging genealogical research experience has been acquired through tracing Scottish and English family roots, and through the intensive study required by the University of Strathclyde's master's degree course in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies. I have expertise in Scottish records, especially those of Glasgow, the former 'Second City of the Empire', and I have conducted several studies focused on Glasgow institutions. Projects undertaken also make use of my language skills, particularly in German and Greek; for example I have studied 19th-century Greek immigration to the US. I am also a UK-qualified librarian, with the skills to research and write on the social history that brings family trees to life.

Service Description:
Commissions undertaken for family history, genealogical and archive research. Glasgow, Scotland, UK and beyond, all research proposals considered. Written reports produced to high professional standards and in compliance with the APG Code of Conduct and with UK Data Protection legislation. Hourly rate for research and writing 30 UK sterling, plus expenses. Additional services offered include location photography and translation of sources or documents from German, Greek and French into English.
