Biography:
I am a fully qualified independent genealogist and university genealogy tutor. My very wide-ranging research experience has been acquired through tracing Scottish, English and Irish family roots, and through the intensive study required by the University of Strathclyde's master's degree course in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies. I have expertise in Scottish records, especially those of Glasgow, the former 'Second City of the Empire'. I am also a university-qualified linguist in German, French and Greek. As a UK-qualified librarian, I also have the skills to research and write on the social history that brings family trees to life.
