While many genealogist charge a fee to complete an initial case review, Capital Genealogy has always provided a thorough research audit and initial case review free of charge. Included with every Initial Consultation Report is a detailed description of your starting point, an analysis of potential research strategies and an itemized quote with specific research tasks. Tara provides many other services free of charge and projects always involve one-on-one time with her customers. Customers benefit from flexible phone appointments and correspondence with Tara that are always included free of charge as well as detailed document analysis, an online document appendix hosted by Evernote, and written and verbal research reports. Customers can view and download reports and documents from their own private webpage allowing them to easily share their findings with family members. Customers also receive a gedcom database file compatible with most genealogy software that can allow them to publish and explore their family tree; also included with customer results are english interpretations of documents in other languages, and english transcriptions of documents that are difficult to read.
