Biography:
Tara A. Fantauzzi, founder and professional genealogist of Capital Genealogy, earned her B.A. in Anthropology and M.A. in Public History at SUNY Albany. She was previously employed as a cultural education specialist at the N.Y.S. Education Department s Cultural Resources Survey Program at the New York State Museum in Albany, NY. During her graduate studies, Tara interned at the American Italian Heritage Museum in Albany, NY where she first was inspired to help others find their roots. Tara has experience with a wide variety of research topics. She is proficient in English, Italian, Spanish, French, and Latin, and is skilled in languages such as German, Dutch, and Flemish Dutch. Past projects have focused on the 18th to 20th centuries at areas on the continents of Europe, North America, South America, and some parts of Asia. Tara is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and Phi Alpha Theta National History Honors Society. She is working to satisfy the requirements necessary to receive the title of Board Certified Genealogist as well as the distinction of Accredited Genealogist for Italian and Mid-Atlantic United States research.

Your billed for actual time spent researching, but all analysis and reporting is included free Customers get billed per hour spent conducting research. Correspondence time is billed at half the rate of regular research. Included with every research hour, you will receive: 1) Comprehensive fully-cited .GEDCOM File A GEDCOM file is the standard database file type for genealogical research. GEDCOM files can be uploaded in Ancestry.com, Family History Tree Maker, or other similar software to create instant family trees and explore your family history research. 2) Summary Report Professional interpretation of research findings 3) Document Appendix A .pdf file with every document we discovered researching your Family History. 3) Document Transcriptions Every document is accompanied by a full English transcription. 4) Document Translations Every documents in a foreign language is accompanied by a full English translation.
