Jerry McDonald has been researching genealogy since 1998 with a proven track record of uncovering family histories and locating living descendants. He uses a wide selection of online and onsite resources to perform research. Versed in the latest forensic methodologies, he is experienced in DNA analysis as well as photograph identification. He frequently visits the National Archives in Washington DC and has access to several key repositories throughout New England. He is currently On-The-Clock as a candidate to receive certification from the Board of Certified Genealogists. Jerry currently serves in the military, holding the rank of Colonel in the United States Air Force and is a combat veteran. His commitment to the military extends to genealogy where he has developed a passion for military research. He is a graduate of the USAF Air War College, Air Command Staff College, Squadron Officer School, Academy of Military Science and USAF Basic Military Training. In addition to APG, he is a member of the National Genealogy Society, New England Genealogical Society and the Connecticut Society of Genealogists.
