Biography:
I have lived on the East Coast, the Southeastern US, the Southern Midwest, and the Pacific Northwest, picking up local and regional history at every stop. I am a prolific reader, a student of human nature and a historian with a bit of a journalistic bent. I love to meet new people and learn new things. I consider myself to be a bit of a detective, and have been able to find an Irish Great-granny with only a maiden name and an approximate year of birth, so let me see what I can find for YOU!

Service Description:
Which do you want to read - a list of names and dates, or a story filled with action and adventure? If you are like me, you prefer the story, and think that the excitement, the danger, the courage, and the romance of the lives of our ancestors make some of the best reading. I believe that the purpose of genealogy is to know, understand, and celebrate the truth of the events that relate to our families. Family history can produce some wonderful discoveries: romance; mysteries solved; brushes with the famous or infamous; as well as heroes, politicians, artists, scholars, and the sturdy folk that are the backbone of America today. And while delving into the past may produce some less-than-savory ancestors, or put an end to an oft-repeated family legend, I am confident that a sense of humor and a desire for truth will enable us all to celebrate our families as they really were and are.
