Summary Tab
Extended Tab

A 1972 Bachelor of Arts graduate of DePauw University, I have spent my adult life mastering several trades. I have been a business manager, a designer of marketing and publicity materials, a conference coordinator, a book editor and ghost writer, a Christian drama director and writer, as well as a drama arts teacher for adults over the age of 50. I have been a fulltime "Family Research Genealogist since 2007, although my interest in genealogy research started in 1999. The owner of The Oklahoma Genealogist LLC, I serve genealogy clients as well as assist publishers in genealogical research. I have an an interest in learning, sharing, teaching, and publicizing materials regarding the cultures and histories of American Indians, as well as other ethnic and cultural groups. I assist other genealogists who have the information, the knowledge, and the desire to share their expertise, but who may need some assistance with public speaking skills. A former member of Toastmasters, I am available to assist in developing and improving those skills. I am currently a teacher at an Oklahoma City Maps 3 Senior Wellness Center, teaching a wide variety of genealogy classes to members 55 years or older. I have my own version of "Who do I think I am?" A first generation American, I was an orphaned German baby, adopted by American parents and brought to the United States in 1951.
