Biography:
Marcello D'Aleo began doing genealogical researches when he was 13 years old. Now, after 37 years, he is one of the most successful genealogists of Italy. In 1987 he founded the Centro Meridionale Ricerche Genealogiche (Southern Italy Genealogical Center), which specializes in the reconstruction of genealogies of families originating from Sicily and other regions of Southern Italy. The searches are conducted in the civil and ecclesiastical records until the sixteenth century and the results are accompanied by digital photographs of original records. Marcello D Aleo also specializes in finding heirs and in all types of research, particularly ancient deeds. Marcello D'Aleo is a member of the Italian Association of Ecclesiastical Librarians (ABEI), the Institute for the Study and Promotion of Ancient Noto (ISVNA) and honorary member of the Augustan Society of Homeland History.
