Marcello D'Aleo began doing genealogical researches when he was 13 years. Now, after 35 years, he is one of the most successful genealogists of Italy. In 1987 he founded the Centro Meridionale Ricerche Genealogiche (Southern Italy Genealogical Center), which specializes in the reconstruction of genealogies of families originating from Sicily and other regions of Southern Italy. The searches are conducted in the civil and ecclesiastical records until the sixteenth century and the results are accompanied by digital photographs of original records. Marcello D Aleo also specializes in finding heirs and in all types of research, particularly ancient deeds. Marcello D'Aleo is a member of the Italian Association of Ecclesiastical Librarians (ABEI) and the Institute for the Study and Promotion of Ancient Noto (ISVNA). Marcello D' Aleo ha cominciato a fare ricerche genealogiche quando aveva 13 anni. Adesso, dopo 35 anni, e' uno dei piu'affermati genealogisti d' Italia. Nel 1987 ha fondato il Centro Meridionale Ricerche Genealogiche, specializzato nella ricostruzione di genealogie delle famiglie originarie dalla Sicilia e dalle altre regioni dell' Italia Meridionale. Le ricerche vengono svolte negli archivi civili ed ecclesiastici fino al XVI secolo e i risultati vengono corredati dalle fotografie digitali dei documenti originali. Marcello D' Aleo e' inoltre specializzato nella ricerca di eredi e in tutti i tipi di ricerche documentarie, in particolare di atti notarili antichi. Marcello D' Aleo effettua ricerche araldiche e nobiliari solo ed esclusivamente per famiglie di provata origine nobile. Marcello D' Aleo e' membro dell' Associazione Italiana dei Bibliotecari Ecclesiastici (ABEI) e dell' Istituto per lo Studio e la Valorizzazione di Noto Antica (ISVNA)
