I have been actively involved in family history research for over thirty years. I founded Lifelines Research in 1984 and since then I have carried out research for more than a thousand clients.
Between 1998 and 2009 I worked for The National Archives of England and Wales, firstly at the Family Records Centre and latterly at Kew where I was appointed to the role of Principal Family History Specialist.
I carry out research in all major repositories in London and the south east of England, making regular visits to The National Archives at Kew, the London Metropolitan Archives, the Society of Genealogists and the City of Westminster Archives. I also cover the county record offices of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Essex and Berkshire.
