Mark M. Sowa, B.S., M.Ed., is a professional genealogist with over 30 years of research experience in all areas of North America and Europe. He holds Bachelor's degrees in History, Geography, Anthropology, and Education, with a Master's Degree in Educational Administration. By day, he is an educational administrator, and by night he contracts with various genealogical research companies in Salt Lake City, and individuals worldwide. With his exceptional research skills and local access to the world's largest genealogical library, he is able to complete projects in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. He is an in-demand speaker at local and national genealogical conferences, and has traveled extensively, having been in all 50 states, and many countries. He is a native of Pennsylvania with Polish, Germanic, and English heritage, having lived in Europe for a number of years. He is fluent in English and Italian, with extensive experience in French, Spanish, Polish, and some Mandarin Chinese. His passion is his family, both alive and dead. He is also a licensed pilot, triathlete, scuba diver, and snowboarder, but spends most of his spare time as a Grammy-nominated vocalist, performing regularly with well-known choral groups and individuals throughout the world.
