His childhood passion for genealogical research and interest in US and European history led him to earn a BA in History and German from Willamette University, an MA in the Social Sciences from The University of Chicago, and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. He received genealogical training at the Seattle Downtown Library. An expert researcher, writer, and editor, Glen has published among other pieces three articles on or relating to genealogy and family cultural heritage. Glen W.
