Biography:
I am a professional writer, editor, and researcher specializing in family and local history, biography, and memoir. I have fifteen years of editorial experience in book and magazine publishing (trade and scholarly materials for both print and the web) and am currently the editor of the Indiana Genealogical Society's quarterly journal, Indiana Genealogist. Additionally, I've taught writing and literature at the college level for nearly twenty years. I have researched my own family history since 1986. My personal and professional research focus is the Midwest, but I have roots in New England and the South, as well as northern and eastern Europe.

Service Description:
I offer editorial and production services for print and electronic projects (ebooks or web), including project development, copy editing, proofreading, and indexing. I am also available for research work and consultation on midwestern-based projects and happy to assist with "on-the-ground" work in the Indianapolis area.
