Biography:
Raised in Grove, Oklahoma, I am a professional genealogist living in Wichita, Kansas. Beginning research on my own family in 1981, I have traced my own family lines back to Germany, France, and England. I have also traced my children's Cherokee and Creek Indian lines, obtaining their CDIB cards (Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood) and tribal membership, as well as those for many clients. I began working part time as a professional genealogist in 1992, eventually becoming a full time researcher in 2009. I love a challenge, and will address your project as if it were my own.

Service Description:
Whether you need one document or your whole family tree researched, I can help! My services include online research (including several subscription websites), as well as research in person, through the mail, and email. I can obtain records from courthouses, genealogical and historical societies, cemeteries, libraries, historical newspapers, Indian rolls, and more. I can also photograph cemeteries, headstones, buildings, houses, or anything else you would like photographed. Please email me for a quote on your particular request.

Research projects I have completed for clients include in-depth, multi-generational family trees, discovering and locating living heirs, photographing tombstones, and entering family histories into RootsMagic and Ancestry.com's online family trees. I have helped the beginning genealogist get started, the seasoned genealogist break through a brick wall, and those in between.

While my specialty is south central and southeast Kansas, I have done extensive research in many other states, including California, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
