Biography:
Kathleen Cogbill Warr, originally from Arkansas, is applying her skills as a stage manager to the field of genealogy. She is currently chapter president and chapter registrar for the Matthew Fontaine Maury Chapter #2421 of the District of Columbia's United Daughters of the Confederacy. She is the former registrar for the Judge Lynn Chapter of the District of Columbia's Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) where she earned the Volunteer Genealogist Award for the DC Division of DAR. Kathleen's genealogical interest lies in society/lineage research, Virginia, and Arkansas research. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, National Genealogical Society, Arkansas Genealogical Society, and Mississippi Coast Genealogical and Historical Society. She has completed NIGR, the DAR 4-day Genealogist Consultant Training Program at their national headquarters in D.C., GEP I, II & III from DAR, as well as the writing course at Salt Lake Institute. Kathleen has her own genealogical consulting service: Old Dead People. She currently lives in Falls Church, VA with her husband and two daughters.
