Jim has expertise in vital records, internet research, computer training, newspaper research and northwest city directories. He will take digital photos of tombstones and loves exploring cemeteries. His knowledge of genealogical topics covers Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Jim regularly uses the Washington State Library, Seattle Public Library, Tacoma Public Library, Heritage Quest Research Library. and the Family History Libraries in the Northwest to conduct research. As a member and director of the Heritage Quest Research Library, Jim has traveled to seminars and conferences in the area to provide books for sale through the Library.
