Biography:
Elizabeth Stewart Olson is an experienced researcher specializing in Georgia records. An Atlanta Georgia native, Elizabeth completed ProGen and Boston University's Genealogical Research Professional Certificate Program. Elizabeth is a member of the National Genealogical Society, Georgia Professional Genealogists, the Georgia Chapter of APG, and a number of other state and local associations. Elizabeth serves as Chapter President of the Georgia Chapter of APG (2015-present) and on the Board of the Directors of the Gwinnett Historical Society. A former member of the Georgia Genealogical Society Board of Directors (2008-2016), Elizabeth received the Georgia Genealogical Society 2011 Volunteer Award, a 2012 award from the Society for Extraordinary Leadership in recognition of efforts to save the Georgia Archives, and a 2016 Award of Recognition. Elizabeth research area includes all counties in Georgia.
