Ruth Lang is the principal researcher for Lang Research Services. Ruth has twenty years of experience with historical and genealogical research. From 2000 to 2019, she worked for the Fresno City & County Historical Society, and from 2012 through 2019, served as Director of the Society. Prior to 2012, she worked for the Society as a researcher, oral historian, digital collections manager, and archivist assistant. She has presented workshops and lectures for regional conferences, historical societies, libraries, and organizations. Ruth is a graduate of the NGS American Genealogy course, the Institute of Genealogical and Historical Research, and the National Institute of Genealogical Research held in Washington, D.C. Ruth is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), the National Genealogical Society and is past 1st Vice-President of the Fresno Genealogical Society. She has served on the APG Professional Issues Committee.
