Biography:

Marian Pierre-Louis is an idea person. She gets such a steady stream of new ideas that sometimes she needs to email them to her friends just to get them out of her head. She is also a strategist. She loves to determine the end goal and the best way to reach it. Marian combines a unique background in corporate marketing and small business marketing with a passion for genealogy and house histories. She is a writer, speaker, educator, broadcaster and small business partner.

You'll hear her interview genealogy professionals about their businesses on The Genealogy Professional podcast. Or you can catch one of the 99 archived episodes of Fieldstone Common, a show about the History and Genealogy of the Northeast. Starting in 2015 you can keep up with her new column in the APGQ "Business Mindset Matters." And on the second Wednesday of each month you'll find her hosting the evening webinars series for Legacy Family Tree Webinars. The rest of the time you'll find her sharing ideas on social media or writing blog posts.

Service Description:

Marian started in 2006 as a genealogy professional providing client research services. She then added a strong focus on house history research. In addition to research, in which her emphasis is on southern New England, Marian has spoken extensively throughout the United States.

With the start of the Genealogy Professional podcast Marian has gone back to her marketing roots and shifted to focus almost exclusively in assisting other genealogy professionals with achieving success in their businesses. She provides business education in the form of webinars, podcasts, workshops, mastermind groups and one-on-one coaching.
