Jordan Jones, founder and owner of, is an experienced genealogist, author, book designer, publisher, and webmaster.

He received his BA in Honors in English from California State University, Northridge and his MA in English (Creative Writing) from UC Davis.

He has published poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and works in translation in numerous magazines and anthologies, and is the author of two books of poetry, containing genealogical poems, Sand & Coal: Poems (Futharc Press, 1993) and The Wheel: Poems (Leaping Dog Press, 2005).

Jordan has been a genealogist since 1976; has designed, edited, and published books and magazines since 1987; and has designed and published websites since 1995. He is working on becoming a certified genealogist and completed "Advanced Military Research III: Mexican War-Civil War" at Samford University's Institute of Genealogical and Historical Research in June 2008.
