Carolyn Johnson Burns
As a genealogist and historian I provide services for clients who are researching personal genealogy and for companies pursuing heir research in the Columbus-Dayton-Cincinnati region of Ohio. In addition, I am the genealogist for the Dayton VA Medical Center, specializing in military and historical research regarding the National Military Homes and Dayton National Cemetery. I serve as publicity officer, program chair and webmaster for the Montgomery County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, and have taught a local workshop on "Starting Your Genealogy: Resources in Montgomery County." I am a member of several genealogical and historical societies.
Provided genealogical research for the book titled Dr. Robert Atkins, The True Story of the Man Behind the War on Carbohydrates by author Lisa Rogak. Provided cemetery research and pictures for researcher Megan Smolenyak Smolenyak's article, Quest for Obama's Irish Roots in her book titled Hey, America, Your Roots Are Showing, and 2015 researcher for Who Do You Think You Are?
