The Past Lane
Cheryl has been researching her own family for over thirty years, mostly in Wayne, Holmes and Tuscarawas Counties of Ohio. She has been doing research as a professional for over twenty years part-time. Has been editor of Medina County Story, Holmes County Heirs newsletters and is current editor of Wayne Ancestors. Cheryl is also the webmaster for Holmes and Wayne Counties for the Ohio GenWeb as well as the Wayne County Cemetery Preservation Society (WCCPS). She has taken "Intermediate Genealogy and Historical Studies" and "Advanced Methodology and Evidence Analysis" at the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR). She has also attended the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP), taking "Beneath the Home Page," "Advanced Land Research," "Determining Kinship Reliably with the GPS," "Law School for Genealogists" and "Pennsylvania Research."
General research in Wayne County and the counties surround Wayne, which include but are not limited to Ashland, Holmes, Medina, Stark and Summit Counties. Will go further afield if the need arises.
