Biography:
Connie Lenzen, CG, is a full-time professional genealogist, author, and teacher. She researches in original documents located in courthouses, archives, and historical repositories as well as in published materials located in libraries. Her office library includes a large collection of Oregon books and microfilms. She is the author of the Oregon Guide to Genealogical Resources and a contributing author to national and local genealogical publications. She lectures at local, state, regional, and national conferences. She is a former trustee and president of the Board for Certification of Genealogists. She is a former NGS director, editor of the revised NGS Home Study Course, and local arrangements co-chair for the 2001 NGS conference. She received the 1995 NGS Award of Excellence and the 2010 NGS President's Citation.
