Cynthia M. Hofmeister Professional Researcher, owner of Petro-Roots, L.L.C., Oil and Gas Abstractor, lecturer, teacher. Past Lafayette Family History Center specialist/consultant. She specializes in identifying and locating missing heirs and or royalty owners for the Oil and Gas client, as well as complex brick wall problem solving for the family historian. Ms. Hofmeister has completed a variety of Oil and Gas projects throughout the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Mississippi, Louisiana, Ohio and Texas. She has personally worked some of the major Shale plays. These include the Barnette, Fayetteville, Haynesville, Marcellus, and Tuscaloosa shale s. Some of her projects include Lease Check, Working Interest, Severance Abstracts, Due Diligence, Well Histories, Legacy Suits, Pipeline Right of Ways, Railroad disputes and various titles. Her research has been used by various law firms in the States of Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New York and Texas.
