River from the Kentucky's mouth at the Ohio upstream to the western edge of the
Blue Grass region west of Lexington. Can anyone tell me how long it took
to travel from, say, Lexington, north to the mouth of the Kentucky in the
1800-1820 period? Would travelers more like go by land or by water?</DIV>
