But, depending on what you are looking for the records may be at
the Kansas State Historical Society (KSHS) in <st1:City w:st="on">Topeka</st1:City>

the eastern half of <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Kansas</st1:place></st1:State>.
The KSHS also has all newspapers for the state. I research at the KSHS

Here's a link to the microfilmed government records for <st1:place

their records have made it onto the online catalogs (you still need to check
the card catalog at KSHS.)<br>

If I can be of assistance, please let me know. My hourly
rate has not changed, it is still $30 per hour plus expenses (basically
photocopy costs at KSHS as they don't have digital copiers available to
researchers.)<br>
