Mary Douglass asked about Colorado National Guard--An answer came from Evie Bresette, but it concerned the ROTC--completely different.
Just google National Guard Colorado and you will find a site that describes the various units, etc. My father served in the Arizona
National Guard and I've been doing a study about his unit. The Guard administration here in Arizona is very helpful and interested in
my project. The insignia of his Arizona Guard unit was the swastika which was worn on the shoulder----His portrait photo in uniform
has caused many raised eyebrows over the years, particularly during WWII.
Suzanne Prosnier, CG in Arizona
.
