Film and fiche orders are done by the patron on a computer which transmits the order to administrators who order the films. A computer printout of the order and a receipt are given to the patron.  This is a very efficient process. Patrons fill out their own orders and receive a pink carbonless copy for their records. When the film arrives, a volunteer takes the pink copy and pulls the film from the cabinet so you immediately know if the right film has been ordered.
