history/genealogy librarianship award. Mary manages the Maryland historical and 
genealogical collections and services at the Frederick (Md.) County Public 
Library.

The NCPedia, an online encyclopedia of North Carolina history and culture, is 
the winner of the 2011 Gale Cengage Learning Award for Excellence in Reference 
and Adult Library Services.
