Does the FHC have the same War of 1812 records that NARA has?
No. THe FHC/FHL may have copies of NARA microfilm but the Compiled Military
Service Records, the pension application files, the unindexed Bounty Land
application files, and the manuscript files are all textual/original records
and are only at NARA.
NARA will have other original records. Check

Another series War of 1812 Discharge Certificates is explained at

charge-certificates.html_

Check _https://wiki.familysearch.org/en/NARA_and_FHL_film_numbers_
(https://wiki.familysearch.org/en/NARA_and_FHL_film_numbers) for the NARA film
number vs. the FHL number.
Hope this helps.
