The Board for Certification of Genealogists is pleased to award CG designation to the following individuals:

Carolyn L. McNicholl, CG(sm), of Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.
  Ms. McNicholl is the owner of McNicholl Genealogical Services. She earned a BS from McMurry University, Abilene, Texas. McNicholl completed a genealogical studies course at Strathcylde University, Glasgow, and online genealogical studies courses through Dundee University, Dundee, University of Toronto, and Cambridge University. She is creator and author of The Scottish Genealogy Blog. Her memberships include the Association of Professional Genealogists, Scottish Genealogy Society, Society of Genealogists, National Genealogical Society, Renfrewshire Family History Society, and Glasgow and West of Scotland Family History Society.

Raymond C. Niro, CG(sm), of Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Susan Farrell Bankhead, CG(sm), of Lehi, Utah.
  Ms. Bankhead earned a BA in U.S. History from San Jose State University, an MA in U.S. History from Brigham Young University, and a teaching certificate from Concordia College. She studied settlement in the southern portion of New York’s Military Tract for her master’s thesis. She attended the National Institute on Genealogical Research, the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, and the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. Bankhead has taught continuing education family history courses at community colleges and formerly served as Chairman of the FGS Delegate Relations Committee. She is a member of the Salt Lake City and Utah Valley chapters of the Association of Professional Genealogists.

F. Warren Bittner, CG(sm), of Centerville, Utah.
   Mr. Bittner, a professional genealogist and owner of Ancestors Lost and Found, earned an MS (History) from Utah State, and a BA (Business) from Brigham Young University. He has attended the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research and the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. His article, “Dora Lühr’s Hannover Origin”, was published in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly. Bittner is a frequent lecturer at local, national, and regional conferences. He is the former German Collection Manager at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.

Teresa Steinkamp McMillin, CG(sm), of Inverness, Illinois.
  Ms. McMillin, a professional genealogist, is owner of Lind Street Research. She earned a BS (Computer Science) from the University of Illinois – Urbana. McMillin was recipient of the 2007 NGS Home Study Course scholarship. She attended the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy and the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research. McMillin lectures on genealogical topics, and is a grader for the NGS Home Study Course.
