Debbie,

I see that I have come late to the discussion (oh well) and you've 
tabulated your results.  Well, I still have one more for you.

I personally store my glasses rim up.  However, about five years ago I 
attended & passed the Food Handlers course as that representative of a 
non-profit soup kitchen.  The state (& Feds) prefer rim-down as being 
more sanitary.

I think that keeping out bugs & geckos wins.
