Janey, my own beside-the-desk choice is Leo F. Steltin, _Dictionary of  
Ecclesiastical Latin_  (Peabody, Mass.: Hendrickson Publishers, 1995). ISBN  
1-56563-131-5
 
 It picks up where most classical Latin dictionaries leave off,  covering 
terms and concepts from the 4th-century Vulgate Latin bible to the  
20th-century documents of the second Vatican Council.
