I thought of these records, too, since I had first learned about them last  
year at NIGR. But I wondered whether they'd be applicable since the wife  
might have not been a US citizen. Would she have been when her husband was  
Italian? I've forgotten the time periods when wives automatically took on  
their husbands' citzenship status.
