Good morning folks,
I am in need of someone on the ground in Los Angeles County to help me with
some records retrievals. Is anyone aware of a good researcher? I know once
I had several in my address book but an address book failure wiped out that
source.
Anyone who can help, please reply privately.
Thanks

Many thanks Rebecca. I am going to direct many of our local folks to this
Family Search web page and tell them to select.
I know some still do not have high speed internet but most do and those
video's which I have viewed are super and relatively basic in scope.
Again thanks

Subject: [APG Members] Online courses at familysearch.org
Many may not be aware of the online courses being added to FamilySearch.
There are several new online courses (with video presentations) at the
following link:
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/library/education/frameset_education.asp?PAG
E=education_research_series_online.asp%3FActiveTab=2
Or the courses can be accessed directly by going to www.familysearch.org,
then selecting the Library tab, then selecting "Family History Library
Research Series Online" along the left of the screen.
There are currently presentations on English, Irish, German, Russian,
Italian and American genealogy research.
The APG and BCG video presentations are also available through FamilySearch
by accessing the "Genealogical Presentations Online" along the left of the
screen (after selecting the Library tab.)
