I would say 'born at sea'. That was her place of birth. If modern times
then would add where registered.

I have a Gr-Gr-Gr-Grandmother that was born on her way to the US. What do
I put down for her Place of Birth? She was born of the Leathly on 12 July
1753.
Thanks,
Dave Sloan
