Michael,

It may be a "Timber Culture" Claim. See this link: http://books.google.com/books?id=VDIaAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA11&lpg=PA11&dq=%22T+C+Claim%22+%2B+homestead+claims&source=bl&ots=h0rFMzqTQT&sig=J2wfNJDVxTcUBoFowz4v529IJRM&hl=en&ei=ZMyzSujUG47mM9y8xdoO&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3#v=onepage&q=&f=false

Whew! That's a long one - hope it works..

Blessings,
Kate

Subject: [APG Public List] a T C Land Claim

An 1890 era cash entry land file from Denver, Colorado, mentions another claim the applicant had and calls it a "T C claim."

  Any idea what this is?
I posted the image here, along with a little more about it:

  Thanks.
  Michael
