Policy for the Use of the APG Logo

 

The Association logo is not to be used for personal or commercial purposes unless expressly authorized by the Board.

• Permission to use the APG logo is granted only after the Executive Committee has reviewed a sample or proof of the item on which the logo is to be used.
• An APG Member logo is available for use by all members in their printed and electronic business materials. It is available for download in the Members Only section of the APG website.
• APG Chapters may use the APG logo once a license agreement has been completed and approved.
• Individual chapter members cannot use the chapter logo on business cards or stationery.
• All chapter publications must include the APG logo.

APG is the owner of the U.S. registered trademark ^&reg on the logo under registration no. 1,739,771, dated December 15, 1992 in International Class 16, covering printed matter and publications. It is the policy of APG to restrict the use of its logo since APG is a membership organization, not a certifying body. The APG logo may not to be used for personal or commercial uses other than that expressly authorized by the Board of Directors. The APG identification is not to be positioned as a postnominal.
