Biography:
Ms. Therkildsen has more than 25 years of program analysis and library reference experience. Colleagues have called her tenacious and stated she will dig and dig until she finds what she is looking for. Her accounting background drives her commitment to a sound audit trail, which is fully substantiated with the best evidence she can find to support her research conclusions. She also has extensive training and experience in life/personal coaching, and she looks forward to co-actively coaching you as you perform your own research and expand your own genealogy skills. Through her own personal family history sleuthing, she has enjoyed the feeling of smiling with generations and generations of her ancestors as she gathers with them again years later to share the family s stories. And she hopes she can help you feel the same.

Service Description:
Ms. Therkildsen offers professional, evidence-based research and is skilled in integrating pieces of information into a complete picture, so that people can feel more linked with their ancestors, and thus more connected to themselves. She also offers co-active coaching to help you perform your own research, expand your genealogy skills, or address specific research challenges. Ms. Therkildsen also is available for speaking engagements on basic genealogy research and also about her specialized genealogy projects including her community/family history project that was inspired by a 1935 Friendship Quilt.
