Stephanie Pitcher Fishman is a professional genealogist, freelance author, social media consultant, and veteran homeschool mom. A genealogical researcher since 1999, Stephanie specializes in Midwestern and Southeastern United States family history, specifically within Ohio and Georgia. As a homeschooling parent, Stephanie has been involved in the homeschool community through both personal and professional endeavors since 2000. Having worked for a well-known homeschool consulting company, she has extensive experience with the needs of the homeschooling family. Because of this, Stephanie enjoys sharing how family history can be used to enrich the education of children and teens. Stephanie Pitcher Fishman has written hundreds of blog posts, articles, and featured materials for clients within the following fields: parenting, home education, and family history. She is currently a contributing editor and author for several online publications which helps her understand the unique requirements of online writing and research. Her interest in social media marketing helps meet twenty-first century client needs. Each project is treated with special care ensuring individual attention. A member of several professional organizations, professional and ethical behavior is paramount to her work process.
