A family historian based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Andy Likins has been researching his family tree for over 25 years. He has a bachelor's degree in history and a master's in teaching English to speakers of other languages, and he teaches academic composition and reading at Pikes Peak Community College. Andy lectures on Norwegian and Swedish research, and his memberships include the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Swedish Colonial Society. He has completed the NGS Home Study Course and the ProGen Study Program. His on-going quest is to encourage his wife and three children to love cemeteries as much as he does.
In addition to U.S., Norwegian and Swedish research, I can also retrieve Colorado Springs obituaries, often with a one day turn around. I am glad to do research in the Pike Peak Library District's Special Collections which includes local history books, maps, manuscripts and archives, photographs, oral histories, films, government documents, and periodicals.
