Biography:

Marie Foden is a full time genealogist. She has the Higher Certificate in Genealogy from the Institute of Genealogical Studies at Canterbury, a BA(Hons)degree in American History from the University of Kent and a postgraduate diploma in bi-media journalism from the University of Leeds.

A broadcast journalist for eight years - five of those in national radio - she began her own genealogy business in 2008.

Although based in Surrey in England she has general expertise which means she can travel all over the British Isles as well as Ireland.

Her undergraduate degree meant she spent one year studying in the United States and she has a particular interest in Anglo American relations.
