Biography:
Amy E. K. Arner, a researcher specializing in Western Pennsylvania, is the past president of the Great Lakes Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists, a proofreader for the Association of Professional Genealogists Quarterly, and the co-editor of the North Hills Genealogists [of Pittsburgh] newsletter. She served three terms on the Association of Professional Genealogists Board of Directors. Amy is the treasurer and webmaster for the Cranberry Genealogy Club. In 2013, she was awarded a Certificate in Editing from The University of Chicago Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies. Her early interest in a box of old family documents led to her taking courses through Brigham Young University and at the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research at Samford University. She has applied her knowledge in researching both personal and clients' families.
